Tuesday 1/30 Book Club at the Village Club 7:30pm 
The Book Club for the months of December and January will be reading, “Beneath a Scarlet Sky, by Mark Sullivan.  This book will be discussed on Tuesday, January 30, 2018.  Book club discussions are held at the Village Club at 7:30 on the last Tuesday of the month.  Come share your thoughts and ideas on any further reads.  If you have any questions you can contact Pat Cronin at 803-521-9138 or email at croninp32@hotmail.com

Sunday 2/4  Valentine Mimosas & Mini-Facials at the Village Club 2-6pm
LOVE the SKIN you’re in!

The Jr. Women’s Club of Lake Murray is a non-profit women’s volunteer organization that aims to better the Lake Murray Community through volunteer service. Please join us as our guest!

Ladies Meet and Greet is the second Thursday of every month. Bring your favorite beverage, a small snack to share, and mingle with your neighbors!

Thursday 2/15 Men’s Night POKER GAME at the Village Club 7pm 
POKER GAME!!!  Lose a few old presidents & win some new friends.  Low stakes, High fun.  No experience preferred.  Men’s Night is the Third Thursday of every month. Bring your favorite beverage and a snack.

Friday 2/16 Boomers and Beyond at the Village Club 5:30pm
Boomers (both singles and couples over 50) meet at the Village Clubhouse the third Friday of each month at 5:30pm.  Bring an appetizer to share and the beverage of your choice. If you would like to play left, right, center, bring three one dollar bills per person.

Tuesday 2/20 Ladies Bunco at the Village Club 7pm
Come for a night of fun with the ladies of SRC who get together on the 3rd Tuesday of every month to play bunco.  We start arriving @ 7pm and play till 8:30.  Bring $5 for the winners pot……never played, don’t worry, there are a few veterans to teach the rules and get the games started.  For information you can contact Pat Cronin @ 803-521-9138 or Jean Dyson @ 803-429-2349.

Friday 2/23 SRC Valentine’s BINGO for Kids at the Chickawa Outdoor Center 4:30pm
Calling all SRC kidoes!  Join your neighbors for popcorn, snacks, and drinks while we play BINGO!  We will start promptly at 4:30pm and wrap up between 5:30-6pm.  Toy prizes will be awarded to winners!  Kids & adults are invited.  (Children under 6 will require adult supervision.)  Please RSVP to activities@saludariverclub.com by February 7th.

Friday 2/23 SRC Valentine’s BINGO for Adults at the Village Club 7pm
Calling all SRC adults!  Join your neighbors your a night of BINGO!  We will start promptly at 7pm and wrap up around 9ish.  Gift cards raffle prizes will be awarded to winners!  Please bring an appetizer or dessert to share and BYOB.  Please RSVP by February 7th at activities@saludariverclub.com.  Limited seating available.

Saturday 2/24 Makeup Party at the Village Club from 2-4pm
Please join your neighbors on Saturday, February 24th at the Village Clubhouse from 2:00pm to 4:00pm for a glass of wine and watch Charlotte based Hair Stylist and Makeup Artist – Michelle Mesropian turn a DAY look into a fun NIGHT look!  If you are in need of updating your makeup application technique, interested in contouring or just want to come get to know other ladies in the neighborhood this is the event for you!  Please RSVP by Thursday, February 22nd to Kelly Spears at 704.957.0939 orkmcspears@gmail.com.

Sunday 3/4 Adventure Guides at the Chickawa Outdoor Center 2:30pm
Calling all SRC Dads and Children join us on The Riverfront for archery shooting, hatchet throwing, fire building, and homesteading lessons such as candle and broom making, and spinning wool.  The cost for each child is $6.  The camp director also asked that no open-toed shoes be worn since we will be shooting arrows. Wellness Programs at Saluda River Club:

Swimming Lessons at SRC
We are offering small group swimming lessons to our residents starting in May.  Starting the week of May 7 beginner lessons will be offered on Tuesdays at 4 and 4:30 p.m. More advanced swimmers will swim at 3:30pm.  Parent/tot classes will be offered on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m.  All lessons run for 30 minutes and have a 1:4 teacher to swimmer ratio except the parent/tot classes which can accommodate up to eight swimmers in each class.  The cost for four lessons is $100 per child. Payment will be made by check or cash to Kitty Konkle on the first day of each four-week  session.  Registration for these classes begins on Feb. 1. To register, contact Kitty at KittyKonkle.smss@gmail.com or 803-348-3652.  Kitty has been the swim school manager for Carolina Aquatics Swim Club for seven years. She has taught private swim lessons for 25 years in the Columbia area. She is the owner of a new swim school, Sharks and Minnows LLC, whose mission is to teach children how to swim and be safe in the water.

Yoga Classes

2018 Lexington Chili Cookoff will be providing over 20 chili cooks samples from 12:00 to 5:00. Live music provided by Freeway Music. Admission is $10 adults / $5 kids. All proceeds go to Lexington County charities.
