Here’s What’s Happening Around the Neighborhood this Month
Yoga Class at the Village Club Fridays at 10am 
Join your neighbors at the Village Club for Yoga with Allison Coulter starting this Friday at 10am.  Alison is an advanced 500 hour yoga alliance certified yoga teacher.  This class will be an all levels yoga class in the downstairs area of the Village Club.  Some experience is helpful but not necessary.  The class will be structured so that everyone can enjoy the many benefits of yoga. Each pose has variations, allowing everyone to do the class at a level that suits them.   You are encouraged to bring props, a yoga block, strap and yoga blanket. You can Google Amazon- yoga props. They are also available at Walmart.
There will be no yoga on Friday, October 24th.

Monday 10/7 Jr. Women’s Club at the Village Club 6:30-8pm

Monday 10/7 Village District Meeting at the Chickawa Outdoor Center 8pm
Join your Village District neighbors for a meeting regarding the 2019 special assessment on Monday, October 7th at 8pm at the Chickawa Outdoor Center.  Come prepared to talk solutions.  Other areas of the neighborhood are welcome to attend.

Tuesday 10/8 PO KE NO at the Village Club 7pm
Is anyone interested in getting together on the second Tuesday of each month for a fun game called POKENO?  It is a combination card/bingo game requiring no experience or skill – just a simple fun excuse to get together.  If you want to try it or play again bring $5.00 per person to the Village Club House on Tuesday, September 10th at 7:00.  Cash prizes will be based on the number of people playing.  Also bring your beverage of choice.  Please RSVP to Linda at cvmcclung@gmail.com. because we are limited to 24 players.

Wednesdays 10/9, 16, 23, 30 Men’s Bible Study at the Village Club 6:30-8pm
The study is for all levels of Christians and specifically for anyone who wants to learn, no matter his knowledge base or spiritual situation.  New Christians and searchers are especially welcome.  This will be non-denominational in format with special attention paid to differences in theology, if necessary.  The classes will be as intense as the class desires.  The goal is to grow in Christ.  If interested, please contact Eldon or Mike, or just show up. Thursday 10/10 Ladies Meet & Greet at the Village Club 7pm
Ladies Meet and Greet is the second Thursday of every month. Bring your favorite beverage, a small snack to share, and mingle with your neighbors!

Saturday 10/12 Breast Cancer Awareness/Coffee & Coverage at the Village Club 8am-12pm
The American Cancer Society reports 1 in 3 women are likely to experience cancer in their lifetime. 1 in 8 women will confront breast cancer. The physical and emotional tolls of this disease alone are monumental. The financial impact can be devastating. Neighbor and Family Heritage Representative, Tom Hickey will be available to help with solutions to the financial impacts of cancer, and other diseases / Injury. Please stop the clubhouse. Family Heritage plans are guaranteed renewable. The plans include No Lifetime Limits and Return of Premium benefits. Sundays 10/13, 20, 27 Fall Ladies Bible Study at the Village Club 6:30-8pm
Please join us for our Bible Study at the Village Club on Sunday nights.  Our Fall Study will be Uninvited by Lysa Terkeurst.  Description: God wants us to live loved when we feel left out, lonely, and less than.  In this six-session Bible study, Lysa TerKeurst digs deep into God’s Word to help you explore the roots of rejection, the way other relationships get tainted because of a past rejection, and the truth about what it looks like to live loved. With biblical depth, gut-honest vulnerability, and refreshing wit, Lysa will take you on a visual journey in the Holy Land to some of the places where people of the Bible such as Hannah, David, and even Jesus lived and walked.

Tuesday 10/15 Ladies Bunco at the Village Club 7pm
Come for a night of fun with the ladies of SRC who get together on the 3rd Tuesday of every month to play bunco.  We start arriving @ 7pm and play till 8:30. Thursday 10/17 Men’s Night POKER GAME at the Village Club 7pm
POKER GAME!!!  Lose a few old presidents & win some new friends.  Low stakes, High fun.  No experience preferred.  Men’s Night is the Third Thursday of every month. Bring your favorite beverage and a snack.

Friday 10/18 Boomers & Beyond Halloween Party at the Village Club 5:30pm
Boomers & Beyond (both singles and couples over 50) meet at the Village Club the third Friday of each month at 5:30pm for a Social.  This month we’re celebrating Halloween!  Put on your Halloween Costume (while fun/not required) and bring your beverage of your choice. Pizza, salad, and snacks will be provided for $20 per person cash only.  Please take your cash payment to Nancy Krebs, 522 Bimini Twist Circle 803-466-5199 by Sunday, October 13th.  You may leave the cash under the front porch mat.  If you would like to bring a dessert to share, that would be appreciated too.  If you would like to play left, right, center, bring three one-dollar bills per person.

Monday 10/21 Adult Board Game Night at the Village Club 7pm

Tuesday 10/29 Book Club at the Village Club 7:30pm

Thursday 10/31 Pizza Party at the Chickawa Outdoor Center from 5-6:30pm
Decorate your Golf Cart, put on your Halloween Costume, and join us for a Pizza Party at the Chickawa Outdoor Center before Trick-or-Treating!  RSVP to activities@saludariverclub.com number of adults and children.

Community Involvement:
