Here’s What’s Happening Around the Neighborhood this Month
Like to play board games?  We are forming an adult board game club.  If you are interested in participating, please email  The 1st Tuesday and the 1st Thursday of each month are the days being considered.,  Also, the 3rd Monday starting in April.

February Activities:

Tuesday 2/19 Ladies Bunco at the Village Club 7pm
Come for a night of fun with the ladies of SRC who get together on the 3rd Tuesday of every month to play bunco.  We start arriving @ 7pm and play till 8:30.  Bring $5 for the winners pot……never played, don’t worry, there are a few veterans to teach the rules and get the games started.  For information you can contact Pat Cronin @ 803-521-9138 or Jean Dyson @ 803-429-2349

Thursday 2/21 Men’s Night POKER GAME at the Village Club 7pm 
POKER GAME!!!  Lose a few old presidents & win some new friends.  Low stakes, High fun.  No experience preferred.  Men’s Night is the Third Thursday of every month. Bring your favorite beverage and a snack.

Sunday 2/24 Dungeons and Dragons at the Chickawa Outdoor Center 1-5pm
Join us for an adventure with D&D, the original Role-Playing Game, every other Sunday.  This informal game is open to teens of all levels.  If you have any questions, contact Dash at (803) 553-6404.

Tuesday 2/26 Book Club at the Village Club 7:30pm

Wednesdays 3/6, 13, 20, 27 Men’s Bible Study at the Village Club 6:30-8pm
Eldon Armstrong and Mike Burkhold will be starting a Men’s Bible Study.  An introductory session will be held on the first night to discuss the direction the group would like to follow.  The study is for all levels of Christians and specifically for anyone who wants to learn, no matter his knowledge base or spiritual situation.  New Christians and searchers are especially welcome.  This will be non denominational in format with special attention paid to differences in theology, if necessary.  The classes will be as intense as the class desires.  The goal is to grow in Christ.  If interested, please contact Eldon or Mike, or just show up. Thursday 5/2 Alcohol Inks 101: Painting Class at the Chickawa Outdoor Center 9:30am-12pm
This class will provide the student with all the tools she/he needs to enter the fascinating world of alcohol ink. A $35 supply fee will cover all that you need to create your own painting. Each participant needs only to bring an apron and a desire to learn and create some fun art.  Class limited to 20 participants.  Participants can book a spot by emailing
