Monday 5/29 Official Opening Day of the SRC Pools
While the pools at Saluda River Club are open for use all year round, the Official Opening Day of Pool Season is Memorial Day, Monday, May 29th.

Tuesday 5/30 Book Club at the Village Club 7:30pm
The book club will be reading for May, “Once We Were Brothers” by Ronald H. Balson. Book club discussions are held at the Village Club at 7:30 on the last Tuesday of the month. All are welcome to join and share your thoughts on the lastest book and give your ideas on any future reads. If you have any questions you can contact Pat Cronin at 803-521-9138 or email at

Friday 6/2 Summer Kickoff Party at the Chickawa Outdoor Center 6pm
Join your neighbors as we celebrate the kickoff of pool season at the Chickawa Outdoor Center. We’ll enjoy music by the band Natural Desire and the Pawley’s Front Porch food truck will be there for walk-up sales. Enjoy a Porch burger with cheese and side, BLT and side, or Mahi Tacos for $9.00. Or, a Kids cheeseburger for $5.00, and a Grilled Cheese for $4.00. BYOB and Drinks.

Friday 6/16 Boomers and Beyond at the Village Club 5:30pm
Boomers (both singles and couples over 50) meet at the Village Clubhouse the third Friday of each month at 5:30pm. June 16th Mary Rickman has graciously offered to prepare a Greek dinner for us. The menu will be grilled lollipop lamb chops, Greek potatoes, salad and bread. BYOB. It would also be appreciated if some would bring desserts. There will be a charge for this dinner. We will also need men to help clean the grill beforehand, and help with the grilling. RESERVATIONS ARE STRONGLY RECOMMENDED AND THOSE WITH RESERVATIONS WILL BE SERVED FIRST. Coming in July:

Wednesday 4/4 Water Balloon Fight at the Ball Fields 9:30am
Please join us for a lot of family and Fun to kick off or bring to an end a fabulous Fourth of July weekend!! We will have three different fights (first one starts at 9:30am). Top soccer field area for kids 5 and under, then children 6 and up, and finally an ADULT only fight to wrap it up in biggest area. Please plan to bring your own balloons POPSCILES and drinks for kiddos will be provided while we all clean up!!
