Saluda River Club is located in Lexington District One, one of the largest and most prestigious districts in the state. Home to 26 schools, including: 14 elementary schools, one intermediate school, six middle schools, four high schools and an innovative technology center.
In the past few years, the District One School Board has undertaken and completed numerous improvements, new construction projects, expansions and renovations to the existing schools, as well as adding four new high school stadiums. The site also notes that Lexington District One also boasted 209 South Carolina Junior Scholars in 2008. Additionally, foreign languages are offered at all levels in the schools. For extracurricular activities, the schools are known for hosting award-winning musical and athletic programs.
