Columbia listed as one of the top places to live

A few recent “best places to live” lists came out, and both of them gave Columbia, South Carolina high marks.

• Great Places to Retire listed the 10 best places to retire, and Columbia made the list.
• In addition, the Builder Business Update, published weekly by Hanley Wood, Inc, listed Columbia at #28 in their ranking of the Top Local Housing Markets for 2009.
