Andy White Inducted into the SC Housing Hall of Fame
Saluda River Club could not be more proud to announce that our own Andrew D. White was inducted into the South Carolina Housing Hall of Fame. This incredibly prestigious honor recognizes Andy’s hard work and support of the South Carolina home building industry. He was presented with an inscribed plaque and trademark medallion along with fellow nominee Frank B. Norris at the ceremony held on November 9 at the Westin Hilton Head Island Resort.
We know that Andy puts his heart and soul into everything he does. As Saluda River Club’s developer, Andy has been recognized with numerous awards and designations for his hard work that has made Saluda River Club the most successful new home community in South Carolina history. In addition to creating incredible developments and building beautiful homes, Andy is very involved in the community and is a caring philanthropist. He has served as Legislative Chair to the HBASC and is known by his peers as a guardian of the South Carolina residential construction industry. Andy serves the community through volunteer positions and is an incredible foster parent with his wife, Debbie. Over the years they have given over 40 neglected children in the Lexington County area love and hope by opening their hearts and home.
Chairman of the S.C. Housing Hall of Fame Trustees, Kenneth E. Ormand, Jr., recently said, “We couldn’t have asked for better nominees than Frank Norris or Andy White because of their unwavering efforts to protect the home building industry and the American dream of homeownership. The South Carolina home building industry has been fortunate to have these champions working for the benefit of our citizens.”
Congratulations, Andy, we are so proud to have you as a champion for Saluda River Club and the South Carolina housing industry! Keep up the great work!
