“We fell in love with Saluda River Club during the 2008 Parade of Homes,” recalls Amy Long.
Amy and her husband Lee had lived in the Irmo area for about eight years. After returning several times to Saluda River Club, they decided on a homesite and are currently building a four-bedroom-home in the River District. They’re anticipating being in by Christmas.
In the meantime, the Longs and 15-month-old son Bowers have enjoyed getting involved in the community. They’ve taken part in a progressive dinner, cooking classes, holiday celebrations and toddler get-togethers.
The Longs love the easy access to highways, which results in a short commute for Lee. And the incredible riverfront recreation is like a dream come true for this active young family.
“Saluda River Club is the type of community we always wanted to live in and raise children in,” Says Amy. “We were at the pool recently and I said to Lee, ‘Won’t it be great when we’re here permanently and never have to leave?!'”
