August Activities at Saluda River Club

August Activities:

Monday 8/10 Back to the Rack 50/50 Consigners Drop Off at the Village Club 5:30-7:30pm

There are two ways to become a consignor with Back To The Rack.

  1. A 50-50 consignor will simply gather their items, bring them to us at the drop-off (preferably on hangers but not required), fill out an information sheet and pay the $10 consignor/tagging fee, and then sit back while your items are tagged for you by professionals and your check comes to you in the mail following our sale.
  2. Our regular consignors will register at www.myconsignmentmanager.com/backtotherack and pay the $6 consigning fee, enter their items there online, print off their tags, attach them to each item, and then drop them off to us at the drop-off on August 10th. Each item must be on hangers and attached properly with safety pins if you are a regular consignor.

A 50-50 consignor will receive 50% of their sales, while a regular consignor will receive 60% of their sales (65% if they also volunteer for a shift to work at the sale and 70% for working two shifts).

Tuesday 8/25 Book Club at the Village Club at 7:30pm
The book selection for August is “The Kitchen House” by novelist Kathleen Grissom….Amazon review states it is a tragic story of page turning suspense (but don’t turn the pages so fast you’ll want to catch every word), exploring the meaning of family, where love and loyalty prevail. Group discussions take place on the last Tuesday of the month at the Village Club and all are welcome to attend. To know more about the book club you can contact Pat Cronin @ 803-520-4317 or email croninp32@hotmail.com
