Tuesday 11/26 – Book Club at The Village Club at 7:30pm
Book Club is the last Tuesday of every month. The November selection is “You Knew Me When” by Emily Liebert.
Thursday 11/28 – Football at The Village Green at 10am
How about a friendly game of football with your neighbors? Join us at 10am on Thanksgiving morning at The Village Green. All ages are welcome. Just show up ready to play. We’ll divide up into teams and get some activity in before the holiday feast.

Sunday 12/1 – Holiday Decorating Contest Judging at 6pm
Let’s make the community look great for the Holiday Season! We’ll be giving awards for the Best Holiday Decorating in each District as well as the infamous Griswold Award!
Sunday 12/1 – Holiday Tour of Homes sponsored by the Jr. Women’s Club of Lake Murray 3-6pm
Tour 5 Homes in SRC decorated for the Holidays and join us for a reception at the Chickawa Outdoor Center. Pick up your map and purchase your ticket at the Information Center at 3pm. All proceeds benefit the Palmetto Place Children’s Shelter.
Sunday 12/8 – Dinner w/ Santa and Tree Trimming Party at the Chickawa Outdoor Center6-8pm
Join your neighbors for an evening of holiday fun! We’ll enjoy holiday caroling by The Carillon Carolers, Dinner catered by Corley Mill Catering, and a Story and Photos with Santa. Children are encouraged to wear their Christmas pajamas! If you are a new homeowner, don’t forget to bring an ornament for the tree! Jodi Jones Photography will be taking 5×7” photos with Santa for $10. Please bring cash or a check made out to Jodi Jones. Please RSVP by Wednesday 12/4 to activities@saludariverclub.com with the number of adults and children to attend. If you are bringing a non-resident, the cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children, and children under 5 are free. The fee will be collected at the door.
Wednesday 12/11 – December Ladies Night Out – Holiday Party at The Village Club at8pm
Bring a gift to exchange, Something to treasure, The bigger the laugh, The greater the pleasure!
Please bring a “Dirty Santa” gift (a recycled gift). As they say, “one’s man trash, is another man’s treasure”. Also, bring Holiday Cookies to share and any leftover we can scatter amongst the group.
Saturday 12/14 – Adult Ugly Sweater Party at the Chickawa Outdoor Center at 7pm
Join your neighbors for the SRC Annual Adult Ugly Sweater Party at the Chickawa Outdoor Center. This is an annual tradition in SRC that you do not want to miss! Please bring an appetizer to share with your neighbors. Entrance fee is $5 per person. Prizes will be awarded to the best male and female and the most traditional sweater. More details coming soon!
Thursday 12/19 – Men’s Card Night at The Village Club at 7pm
Men’s Card Night is the Third Thursday of every month. Bring your favorite beverage, a snack and at least $10 for the pot.
