Tuesday 8/30 Book Club at the Village Club 7:30pm
The Book Club will be reading A Man Called Ove” by Fredrik Backman for August.   Book club discussions are held at the Village Club at 7:30 on the last Tuesday of the month.  Come share your thoughts on the latest book and give ideas on any future reads.  If you have any questions you can contact Pat Cronin at 803-521-9138 or email at croninp32@hotmail.com

Thursday 9/1 Matilda Jane Fall 2016 Release at the Chickawa Outdoor Center 10am-12pm
Come take a peek at Matilda Jane’s newest Fall 2016 release – “Once Upon a Time” – enchanting clothing and accessories for women and girls (3 months-tweens).  You won’t be disappointed!  We can’t wait to share it with you!  Thursday, September 1 from 10:00-12:00 at the Chickawa Center.  Hosted by Sara Sadler and Renee Street

Friday 9/2 Adult Social at the Village Club 7pm
Bring your favorite adult beverage, a small snack to share, and mingle with your neighbors!

Monday 9/5 Labor Day
Enjoy the Clubhouses with your neighbors!

Wednesdays 9/7, 14, 21, 28
Ladies Bible Study at the Village Club 7:00-8:30pm
Join us for a 7-week Ladies’ Bible Study to be held each Wednesday from September 7th through October 19th at the Village Club.  We will be doing a bible study by Melissa Spoelstra titled Joseph: The Journey to Forgiveness.  Please contact Jennifer Winchester at 803-518-9177or jwinchester@sc.rr.com for more information.

Thursday 9/8 Ladies Meet and Greet at the Village Club 7pm
Ladies Meet and Greet is the second Thursday of every month.  This month Collaborate Healthcare will be joining us.  They will be bringing appetizers and drinks and giving FREE 10 minute table massages.  They will also have raffle prizes!  We already have 11 ladies signed up, but spacing limited, so please RSVP to activities@saludariverclub.com.

Sunday 9/11 Church of the Good Shepherd Picnic at the Chickawa Outdoor Center 4-8pm
The Church of the Good Shepherd located at 1512 Blanding Street in downtown Columbia is hosting their annual church picnic on Sunday September 11th from 4-8PM at the Chickawa Outdoor Center / Pool and would like to welcome SRC residents to join us in fellowship.  The Church of the Good Shepherd is the third oldest Episcopal Church in the city of Columbia and is the principal Anglo-Catholic parish of the Episcopal Diocese of Upper South Carolina. Thursday 9/15 Men’s Night at the Village Club 7pm
Men’s Night is the Third Thursday of every month. Bring your favorite beverage and a snack.

Tuesday 9/20 Ladies Bunco at the Village Club 7pm
The ladies of SRC will be getting together to play the game of BUNCO on the third Tuesday of each month at the Village Club from 7:00-9:30pm.    Never played, don’t worry, there will be a few veterans of the game to teach the rules and get the game started.   Come for a night of fun, meet new neighbors, bring your favorite beverage, snack and $5.00 for the winners pot.   For information you can contact Pat Cronin @ 803-521-9138 or Jean Dyson @ 803-429-2349
