Tuesday 4/1 Kayaking Season is Open
Simply complete the form on the Trip Reservation page on the Resident Area of the SRC website. Your username and password is on the front page of the white binder you received after closing. Twenty-four hours advance notice is required.

Friday 4/4 Adult Social at The Village Club at 7pm – Spuds and Suds
Adult Social is the first Friday of every month. Join us this month for Spuds and Suds sponsored by The Lake Murray Boat Club. Lake Murray Boat Club is the Midlands only Boating Country Club®. It is a worry-free alternative to the expense and time commitment of traditional boat ownership. The Lake Murray Boat Club offers: Unlimited boat use, Guaranteed Reservations, Complimentary water toys, No cleaning and maintenance, No slip fees, towing or launching, No loan payments, and No property taxes. Please RSVP for this event at activities@saludariverclub.com so we have enough spuds, fixin’s, and suds for everyone.

Monday 4/7 Junior Women’s Club Meeting at The Village Club at 6:30pm
The Junior Women’s Club is the first Monday of every month. Join this dynamic group of ladies as they emphasize issues dealing with: education, health, home life, and community service projects–aiming to improve the Lake Murray community.

Thursday 4/10 Ladies Bunco at The Village Club at 7pm
Bunco is the second Thursday of every month. Bring your favorite beverage, a snack and $5 to contribute to the pot. Don’t worry if you don’t know how to play, your neighbors will teach you the game and you may be a lucky winner

Saturday 4/12 Spring Yard Sale 7-11am
Get rid of some things you don’t need anymore and make a little cash! We’ll place an ad in The State Newspaper, post the event on Facebook, and place a sign out at the front of the community. You bring your tables to the Village Green lawn. If you live on River Club Drive from the main entrance to the Village Green, you can set out your things for sale along the street.

Thursday 4/17 Men’s Card Night at The Village Club at 7pm
Men’s Card Night is the Third Thursday of every month. Bring your favorite beverage, a snack and at least $10 for the pot.

Saturday 4/19 Easter Egg Hunt on the Riverfront at 10:30am
Calling all SRC Kiddoes Age 2 to 5th Grade. Join us for an Easter Egg Hunt on The Riverfront at 10:30am followed by an Easter Story and Snacks inside the Chickawa Outdoor Center sponsored by Lexington Presbyterian Church. Please RSVP the number of children to activities@saludariverclub.com. We’ll meet inside the Chickawa Outdoor Center to receive instructions and break into age groups before the hunt.

Tuesday 4/29 Book Club at The Village Club at 7:30pm
Book Club is the last Tuesday of every month. This month’s selection is The Fault in our Stars by John Green. New members are always welcome!

Kid Fit Summer Camps Coming to Saluda River Club:

  • June 23-26, 9:00-12:00, Sports Camp ages 5-12
  • July 14-17, 9:00-12:00, Sports Camp ages 2-6

Activities include volleyball with beach balls, balloon tennis, noodle hockey, bowling, soccer, basketball, and much more.

  • July 21-24, 9:00-12:00, Gymnastics Camp ages 2-6

Activities include mats, balance beams, trampolines, bars, rings, tumbling aids, and much more.

  • July 28-31, 9:00-12:00, Circus Camp ages 2-6

Activities include tight wires, stilts, juggling, face painting, and much more.

Each camp will meet both on the Riverfront and inside the Chickawa Outdoor Center. The cost for each camp is $40/child/week. All campers must be potty trained. Each camp is Monday-Thursday. Kids are to bring a snack and a water bottle every day. All camps are open to friends of SRC residents too. Please email activities@saludariverclub.com for more information or to register your child.
