Kim and Zach Cox loved living in downtown Columbia, especially the proximity to work and restaurants. When they needed more space, they anticipated moving to a larger home but staying in town.

We found that for the cost of an old home that needed a lot of work, we could live at Saluda River Club in a beautiful new home that we could move right in to,” says Kim. They also discovered that having the pool, gym and other amenities in the neighborhood meant they could give up a costly country club membership.

In January 2009 the Coxes became the second family to call Saluda River Club home. They love the natural setting, proximity to downtown and their spacious Village District home. In 2010, they welcomed baby Bishop into the family.

So Much to Enjoy

Kim and Zach have been amazed at the explosion of activities within the community – from yoga to poker, cooking classes and camp for the kids. There are formal and informal social events and even toddler and mom get-togethers.

We’ve also been pleased to see how the homes have maintained their value,” says Kim. She believes that reflects well on the quality of construction throughout the community.

Nearly three years later, the Coxes remain delighted with their choice and look forward to the future at Saluda River Club.
