Here's what you need to know:

We have access to several launch and take-out sites residents can use along the Saluda River. There are a total of 5 landings that residents can use, listed Upriver to Downriver: Mett's Landing, 3 on the SRC property (upper, middle, lower) and Canoeing for Kids (just before the I-20 bridge on right hand side). You can choose to launch from Mett's, SRC Upper or SRC Middle. Take-out locations include SRC Middle, SRC Lower or Canoeing for Kids (CFK). Please refer to attached map and duration schedule to select your trip. SRC resident take-out use of the CFK property is at the discretion of CFK. We, as SRC, have agreed to ask on a weekly basis (with at least 24 hrs notice) to use their property as a take-out spot. CFK occasionally hosts private weekend events in which we would be prohibited from taking-out on their property. It is important to understand that if your party launches or takes-out on non-SRC property (either Mett's or CFK) we cannot provide transportation for persons (only equipment). Your party will have to coordinate to leave a vehicle at CFK if you choose to take-out there, and also a drop vehicle if your launch site is Mett's Landing. It is a policy of SRC that no users of SRC kayaks and other equipment is permitted to travel downriver beyond the CFK location. We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.

To get to Mett's Landing take a right out of SRC. Go about 1/2 mile and turn right on Hope Ferry Rd. and follow it all the way to the River.
To get to CFK go back down Corley Mill Rd. towards Hwy 378. Take a left at the John Deere Dealership on Riverchase Way. Follow Riverchase Way approximately 1 mile until it dead ends. Turn left and CFK will be on your right.
