Saluda River Club Wins Pinnacle Awards from South Carolina Home Builders Association

Saluda River Club in Lexington, SC, and its marketing firm B. Sheppard Consulting Inc. of Atlanta have won two distinguished Pinnacle Awards from the Home Builders Association of South Carolina at its annual awards banquet in Charleston.

The new community was cited for Best Sales and Information Center and Best Landscaping.

"Saluda River Club's winning two prestigious Pinnacle Awards is quite an honor," said Betsy Sheppard, president of B. Sheppard Consulting. "The community is the most innovative in the Columbia area and it speaks highly of developer Lifestone Communities to have been given these awards by their peers."

Lifestone Communities, developers of Saluda River Club, worked with B. Sheppard Consulting and the Charleston design firm JHB & Associates to create the interior, which features interactive kiosks and three-dimensional d�cor including a waterfall glass wall, floor-to-ceiling banners and a full-sized wooden canoe.

Additionally, Saluda River Club was honored for its overall landscaping, including a stacked-stone front entrance, mini parks sheltered by natural hardwoods, miles of walking trails with bridges and pathways and a one-mile stretch of shoreline along the picturesque Saluda River.

"The developers' intent is to maximize the beauty found in this area with its rolling topography and generous amount of shoreline on the river," Sheppard said. "Retaining the natural features and creating a community around them makes Saluda River Club one of the most unique communities in the Carolinas."

The Pinnacle Awards were created to honor those in the home building industry who have achieved the highest standard of quality craftsmanship, innovative problem solving and customer satisfaction. This competition is a privilege of membership as well as a means of challenging members to greater levels of achievement.
