Here’s What’s Happening Around the Neighborhood this Month

Tuesday 9/19 Ladies Bunco at the Village Club                         7pm

Come for a night of fun with the ladies of SRC who get together on the 3rd Tuesday of every month to play bunco.  We start arriving @ 7pm and play till 8:30.  Bring $5 for the winners pot. Thursday 9/21 Men’s Night at the Village Club                             7pm 
POKER GAME!!! Lose a few old presidents & win some new friends. Low stakes, High fun. No experience preferred. Men’s Night is the Third Thursday of every month. Bring your favorite beverage and a snack.

Tuesday 9/26 Book Club at the Village Club                             7:30pm
The book club will be reading, “Before We Were Yours” by Lisa Wingate for September.  Book club discussions are held at the Village Club at 7:30 on the last Tuesday of the month.  Come share your thoughts on the latest book and give ideas on any future reads.  If you have any questions you can contact Pat Cronin at 803-521-9138 or email at croninp32@hotmail.com.

Wednesday 9/27 Wine & Shine Wednesday at the Village Club    7-9pm

Midlands Plant & Flower Festival at South Carolina State Farmers’ Market, September 22 – 24, 2017
From lawn and garden décor to seasonal plants and flowers, festival vendors are bound to have what you’re looking for. Clemson Extension’s Master Gardeners will also be present throughout the event to answer all of your home lawn and garden questions. For more information visit, click here.

Splash & Dash Adventure Race – Salad Shoals Park, Saturday, Sept. 2
Teams of two or three competitors will run (two miles), bike (four miles), and paddle (one mile) in this adventure race along the scenic trails of Saluda Shoals Park. All paddle equipment is provided.  Please bring an off road bike and helmet.  Register here.

Midlands Health & Wellness Expo, Saturday, Sept. 23
Absolute Total Care presents the Midlands Health & Wellness Expo – come out and see what your local health and wellness community has to offer! Dozens of vendors plus free health screenings, massages, bounce houses, CPR training, car seat checks, fitness classes, Doc McStuffins meet & greets, kid activity zones, and more.
