SRC parkridge circle of healthOn Saturday, March 1, the newly constructed Palmetto Health Baptist Parkridge Hospital held its public ‘open house’ prior to the grand opening later in March. More than 1,300 people from nearby communities, including Kara Powell, Saluda River Club’s Director of Business Development and her family, celebrated the opening of the hospital by forming a human “circle of health” all around the beautiful, state-of-the art medical facility.

Tammy C. Epps, Media Relations Manager with Palmetto Health, was delighted with the turnout: “We encircled the entire building on Saturday. The community commitment and energy that was in the air was contagious! There are no words to express the gratitude that I feel to each of the participants for helping make it happen. It was a dream come true for the entire Palmetto Health family and each of us extend our gratitude to all.”

The beautiful new hospital is located just 10 miles from Saluda River Club (less than 15 minutes by car), a major benefit for the residents of the award-winning master-planned community in Lexington.
