Friday 5/1 Beer Tasting/Adult Social at the Village Club 7pm
Adult Social is the first Friday of every month. Bring your favorite adult beverage, a small snack to share, and mingle with your neighbors! This month we’ll be tasting beer from local breweries!

The Junior Women’s Club is the first Monday of every month. Join this dynamic group of ladies as they emphasize issues dealing with: education, health, home life, and community service projects–aiming to improve the Lake Murray community.
Thursday 5/14 Ladies Bunco at The Village Club at 7pm
Bunco is the second Thursday of every month. Bring your favorite beverage, a snack and $5 to contribute to the pot. Don’t worry if you don’t know how to play, your neighbors will teach you the game and you may be a lucky winner

Thursday 5/21 Men’s Card Night at The Village Club at 7pm
Men’s Card Night is the Third Thursday of every month. Bring your favorite beverage, a snack and at least $10 for the pot.
Saturday 5/23 Spider Lilly Kayaking Tour with Adventure Carolina
Join us on a guided kayak tour on the Broad River featuring Spider Lillies blooming from late May through June. We’ll meet at Adventure Carolina at 1107 State Street Cayce, SC 29033. Call to book at 803-796-4505. $50 per Kayak or Canoe. Time TBD.
Monday 5/25 Official Opening Day of the SRC Pools
Partial Reservations for the Village Club and the Chickawa Outdoor Center are allowed between Memorial Day and Labor Day. A partial reservation reserves a designated area of the clubhouse or pool deck, while leaving the remainder of the facility open to all Saluda River Club residents and guests.

Private Swimming Lessons at Saluda River Club:
Did you know drowning is the leading cause of death for children under 4, according to the Centers for Disease Control? And for every drowning, four more children suffer lifelong submersion injuries from a near drowning.
Little Loggerheads Swim School, featuring Infant Aquatic Survival, will offer private lessons to children 6 months to 6 years at Saluda River Club, beginning in May. These lessons teach your child how to self-rescue in case of an aquatic accident and learning the entire series takes anywhere from four to six weeks, depending on the age and ability of the child. This is a proven method taught by certified instructors.

KidFit Summer Camps Coming to SRC:
June 22-25, 9am-12pm, Sports Camp ages 5-12
July 13-16, 9am-12pm, Sports Camp ages 2-6
Activities include volleyball with beach balls, balloon tennis, noodle hockey, bowling, soccer, basketball, and much more.
July 20-24, 9am-12pm, Gymnastics Camp ages 2-6
Activities include mats, balance beams, trampolines, bars, rings, tumbling aids, and much more.
July 27-30, 9am-12pm, Circus Camp ages 2-6
Activities include tight wires, stilts, juggling, face painting, and much more.
August 3-6, 9am-12pm, Beach Camp ages 5-12
Activities include bocce ball, corn toss, frisbee, beach tennis, flip cup, ladder golf, washer boards, beach ball volleyball, and pool games.
Each camp will meet both on the Riverfront and inside the Chickawa Outdoor Center. The cost for each camp is $50/child/week. All campers must be potty trained. Each camp is Monday-Thursday. Kids are to bring a snack and a water bottle every day. All camps are open to friends of SRC residents too. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve a space for your child.
