Monday 3/7 Jr. Women’s Club Meeting at the Chickawa Outdoor Center 6:30-8:30pm
The Junior Women’s Club of Lake Murray will hold the next monthly club meeting on Monday, March 7 at the Chickawa Outdoor Center (location change) at 6:30-8:00 pm. We are a non-profit women’s volunteer organization that aims to better the Lake Murray Community through volunteer service. Please join us as our guest!  Our guest speaker for the meeting will be Joy Blakely from Mother’s Against Drunk Driving (MADD). Mondays 3/7, 14, 21 Ladies Bible Study at the Village Club 8pm

Ladies Meet and Greet is the second Thursday of every month.  Bring your favorite beverage and a snack to share.

Pack up your baby or toddler, coffee to go, and a few books or toys to share and join the SRC Moms for a playdate at The Gregory’s at 136 Old Woodlands Blvd 10am.

Friday 3/11 Ladies Night at 175 Glade Spring Drive 4-8pm

Saturday 3/12 12-Cent Kids’ Day at EdVenture 10am
Let’s get together at 10am at EdVenture for 12-Cent Kids’ Day.  If your kids are into Dinosaurs, you’ll want to check out The Big Dig.  This dino-mite exhibit features roaring robotic dinosaurs such as the Stegosaurus, Raptor and Triceratops.  You can dig for fossils in the Dino Dig Pit and pan for gemstones in the Treasure Creek!  Little ones will enjoy pretend play in the Paleo Tent and Lil’ Explorers area filled with costumes, puppets, books and puzzles.  Admission for kids is 12-cents, parents or guardians are $11.50, and kids under 2 are always free.

Saturday 3/12 Columbia Wine & Spirits Tour – Bus Pick Up Village Parking Lot 3pm
Come ride with your SRC neighbors and experience the best way to visit and taste Columbia’s great distilleries and wine selection. The tour stops include: Copper Horse Distilling, Crouch Distilling, and The Vino Garage.  At each distillery, guests will receive a full facility tour, followed by a spirit tasting session. The wine portion of the tour features a custom tasting curated by Vino Garage owner Doug Aylard.  Tickets are $45 per person, with a $20 option for those not drinking. See you on the bus for some fantastic craft spirits!

Thursday 3/17 St. Patrick’s Day Celebration at the Village Club 7pm
We’re cancelling Men’s Night this month.  Instead, let’s get the Adults together for a St. Patrick’s Day Celebration at the Village Club.  Wear your Green, bring your favorite beer, a snack to share, and let’s crank up the music for St. Patty’s Day!

Tuesday 3/22 Book Club at the Village Club 7:30pm
ATTENTION:   Since the last Tuesday of March is during Easter/School break the book club will meet on Tuesday, March 22nd @ 7:30pm
The Book Club choice for March is “The Stone Necklace” by South Carolina author Carla Damron.  The author takes us on a ride thru our own state capital, and tell us a moving story of four people’s lives in the historic community of Columbia.  Book club discussions are held at the Village Club at 7:30 on the last Tuesday of the month.  Come share your thoughts on the latest book and give ideas on any future reads.  If you have any questions you can contact Pat Cronin at 803-521-9138 or email at croninp32@hotmail.com.

Calling all SRC Kiddoes 12 Years and Younger!  Grab your Easter Basket and join us for an Easter Egg Hunt and photos with the Easter Bunny on The Riverfront.

Thursday 3/24 Taco Thursday at the Chickawa Outdoor Center 5:30pm
Enjoy a weeknight free from cooking!  Join your neighbors for Taco Thursday at the Chickawa Outdoor Center or swing by and make up to-go box!  On the Menu…Grilled Chicken Soft Tacos with Shredded Romaine and Toppings of Mandarin Sriracha Slaw, Mango Pico de Gallo, Blue Cheese Slaw, Shredded Cheese, Tomatoes, Sour Cream, and Side Dish of Black Bean & Corn Salsa with Tortilla Chips, Cookie for Dessert, and Tea!  Please make checks payable to Momma Rabbit’s and drop them off at the Info Center Box no later than Tuesday 3/22 at 5pm.  Adults are $13 (2 Tacos) and Children are $7 (1 Taco).

Kayaking Season is Open on the Weekends in April!  Login to the Trip Reservation page under the Resident Area of the Saluda River Club website located athttps://www.saludariverclub.com/our-lifestyle/residents-area/kayaking/.  The password is saluda.

Saturday 4/2 Kids Shopping Event at the Chickawa Outdoor Center 9am-2pm
Announcing the Saluda River Club Kids Shopping Event on Saturday April 2nd from 9AM – 12PM!  This Kids Shopping Event will feature new and gently used items that are all things kids! Due to limited booth space, vendors are limited to current Saluda River Club Property Owners and Residents. Make sure to reserve your spot today by emailingactivities@saludariverclub.com! You will need to provide your own table or display for your products.

Saturday 4/9 Spring Yard Sale 7-11am
Get rid of some things you don’t need and make a little cash!  We’ll place an ad in The State Newspaper, post the event on Facebook, and place a sign out at the front of the community.  Just bring your tables to the Village Green lawn.  If you live on River Club Drive from the main entrance to the Village Green, you can set out your things for sale along the street.

Calling all Residents for a Block Party in the Woodlands District on Watershed Lane!  Bring a Picnic Side Dish to share and BYOB!  See you there!

Come out and kick off spring, summer, and Mother’s Day shopping early right here in the SRC as our local resident vendors and long time favorites debut their spring lines just for you!!  Open to resident vendors to apply and return application and fee by 3/15 emailasdonley@icloud.com

Kid Fit Summer Camps at Saluda River Club:

June 20-23, 9am-12pm, Sports Camp ages 5-12
July 11-14, 9am-12pm, Sports Camp ages 2-6
Activities include volleyball with beach balls, balloon tennis, noodle hockey, bowling, soccer, basketball, and much more.

July 18-21, 9am-12pm, Gymnastics Camp ages 2-6
Activities include mats, balance beams, trampolines, bars, rings, tumbling aids, and much more.

July 25-28, 9am-12pm, Circus Camp ages 2-6
Activities include tight wires, stilts, juggling, face painting, and much more.

August 1-4, 9am-12pm, Beach Camp ages 5-12
Activities include bocce ball, corn toss, frisbee, beach tennis, flip cup, ladder golf, washer boards, beach ball volleyball, and pool games.

Each camp will meet both on the Riverfront and inside the Chickawa Outdoor Center.  The cost for each camp is $60/child/week.  All campers must be potty trained.  Each camp is Monday-Thursday.  Kids are to bring a snack and a water bottle every day.  Please emailactivities@saludariverclub.com to reserve a space for your child.
