Lexington Chamber’s Oyster Roast and Auction Held at Saluda River Club
Saluda River Club was the proud host of the Lexington Chamber’s third annual Oyster Roast and Auction on March 29th. Presented by Lexington Medical Center, the event was a huge success with over 600 in attendance at the Chickawa Outdoor Center. Over 150 items were up for auction and a diverse menu was served along with drinks and desserts.
According to a blog on the Greater Lexington Chamber’s website, “guests downed close to 60 bushels of oysters.” Unique items were offered at the auction tables such as prom packages, Michelin tires, a tandem jump at SkyDive Carolina and a surround sound TV. With such a great turnout, the Chamber’s president/CEO, Randy Halfacre stated, “this function is becoming a premier event for Lexington. The word is out on the street that this is the place to be, and what better venue than the Saluda River Club?”
Saluda River Club is proud to be a part of such a wonderful town. A big thank you to the Lexington Chamber for once again holding the event in our community, we are thrilled to be a part of such a large gathering for the people of Lexington.
