Super Bowl Sunday at Saluda River Club

Saluda River Club residents will celebrate the Super Bowl in style this weekend at the Super Bowl Pot Luck Party. Held at the Chickawa Outdoor Center, Saluda’s full-time Lifestyle Director, Stephanie White, has everything ready to make this Super Bowl as exciting to watch as if the Panthers were in it.

Complete with a big screen television, marshmallows to roast and hot cocoa, residents are to bring their favorite drink (don’t forget drinks for the kids as well!) and a snack or dessert to share with their neighbors.

The first event of the year, the Super Bowl Party is sure to be a blast with plenty of yelling at the TV, cheering and excitement. We can’t wait to see all of our wonderful residents for our first event of 2012. We are looking forward to an event-filled year and can’t wait to start it off right –see you there!

3rd Annual “Art on the River” featured Corley Mill Artists’ Group

Saluda River Club
was proud to partner with Corley Mill Artists’ Group for an evening of “Art on the River.” The October 2011 show was held at the Chickawa Outdoor Center in the River District of Saluda River Club. The beautiful riverside setting was perfect for displaying the art of over 25 artists. Approximately 200 guests enjoyed food, wine and mingling with the artist while enjoying the art and the atmosphere. Five pieces of art were sold and new partnerships created. Several residents expressed an interest in taking classes or attending workshops at the Corley Mill Artists’ Group school. Michel McNinch, the instructor for the Group’s classes, said that residents were sure to get inspiration for paintings from the beautiful surroundings at Saluda River Club. The River District provides a wealth of opportunities for photographing and painting nature.
