Meadow Glen Middle School

Meadow Glen Middle School will be the new addition to the Lexington One School District in 2012. The new school will include specialty labs, collaborative teaching spaces, performing arts and fine arts center and athletic facilities and fields. The new school, now under construction, will feature football, volleyball, boys and girls basketball, cheerleading, track and wrestling.
Dr. Bill Coon has been named the Principal of Meadow Glen Middle School. In 2006, he opened Pleasant Hill Middle School and since then has won several awards, including a Palmetto Gold Award and a Red Carpet Award recognizing family friendly school environment and excellent customer service.
Meadow Glen Middle School, when completed, will be the first LEED certified middle school for the district. Completion is expected for summer of 2012. Once completed, students residing at Saluda River Club will attend Meadow Glen Middle School.
