The selections process is a pinnacle part of the construction critical path. Making decisions in a timely manner allows the construction of your home to move forward in an accurate and efficient manner. Estimating a completion date is not feasible without final selections being made. At Lifestone, we have timed our selections process to match the construction process.

Now that you have chosen your home, it is time to make it yours and customize it. You should meet with the Design Consultant and if you are doing a custom designed plan the Plan Design Consultant within 15 days of signing your sales contract. No construction or changes to a Spec home will begin until you have had this appointment. If you are purchasing a spec house, construction will halt until your change order is finalized. This should occur within 15 days of signing your contract. If selections are not made within 15 days construction will continue with the original pre-contract selections or interest charges will be added to the contract price until the home is able to move forward again.

  • Lighting Cut Sheets
  • Plumbing Cut Sheets
  • Appliance Cut Sheets
  • A selections sheet
  • Vendor list for applicable trades
  • Color Selections sheet if they have been made
  • Landscape Design if it has been done
  • Cabinet Design if it has been done
  • Flooring Selections if they have been made
  • Cabinet Selections if they have been made
  • Countertop Selections if they have been made
  • Door Hardware Selections if they have been made
  • Shower Enclosure and Cabinet Shelving Selections if they have been made
